I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the 5+ years of wonderful service you have provided Northridge Systems. Our rep, Kevin Ford, has always been pleasant to speak with. He's very knowledgeable, and always willing to take a few moments to speak with me personally if I have a question on our order. He helped us through the branding change from Sunbelt to Lonesource and was quick to help with any issues that arose in the change. Kevin has also been my Go-To Guy when it comes to ordering strange supplies that aren't easy to find and he's always willing to do the research on his end to ensure that we end up with the best price and best value. The free next day delivery also can't be beat. Sometimes we need our supplies very quickly and a quick turnaround time with order accuracy is an absolute must. The Plant Peddler prides itself on giving over the top customer service so when we are treated the way we like to treat our customers, it is very refreshing! We are more than just a number or an account to you and it shows.
Our delivery driver is always pleasant to deal with and in an office full of women bossing him around, he takes it all in stride by moving boxes of paper around when we cannot decide where it should go.
On top of all of this, your pricing cannot be beat! You have proven that time and time again! Just for instance, Mark (our president and a known computer/technology hater) needed an adaptor and clasp for his line that connects him to the internet. In his frustration, he ran down the street to Staples at 4:00pm. It cost him over $40.00 for this line and clasp. While he was gone, I called your office, found out you could get it for $18.00 and I could have it first thing in the morning. Of course, we placed the order, it was here before he arrived with his purchase from Staples and he was amazed that you could find it for so much cheaper. He took his Staples purchase back and according to him gave them a piece of his mind.

I am thrilled to have Lonesource as our new office supplier. The first day I spoke with Kevin Ford I was very comfortable with discussing changing from one vendor to the other. Not only were the prices lower, but the service could not be beat. Kevin’s attention to detail and his eagerness to actually help me receive the order I want has been outstanding. We are a non profit company and all of the benefits mean everything.
The concept of “making your life easier” actually exists with Lonesource and that is what we are all looking for. I did not have to worry about paperwork to get started because there was none. Recently, I thought I had the wrong order and Kevin took the time to call the vendor. It was a special battery, but the upgrade to the old one.

It has been an outstanding experience changing our main office supply vendor to Lonesource approximately a year ago. This has been an incredible difference in the customer service. Kevin Ford is our account manager. He has constantly gone out of his way to meet our every need. Kevin is often suggesting cost effective and helpful ideas that makes my job become easier.
Purchasing supplies for a government municipality can often be challenging as it is imperative. We not only get excellent quality but value for tax payer dollars. Kevin researches the availability of products to help us achieve that goal.

I can't say enough about Kevin Ford. Kevin always seems happy to hear from me when I call and always has a a great attitude. Whenever I need something I know that all I have to do is give Kevin a call and he takes care of what I need. Sometimes I even end up calling him several times in one day and he never seems to get frustrated that I don't have my order together all at one time. With the nature of our business, we unfortunately need things at the last minute and Kevin always comes through. There have even been times that he has made sure that items get delivered the same day if needed, by your delivery personnel if possible, and if not is available for us to have a courier pick it up. He is also great about returns. I work with some folks that have very specific needs on certain items and he allows me to order items and if they are not exactly what we need, he is very willing to take the items back.
We recently had a representative from another office supply company come in our office and she really highlighted how great Kevin is by being extremely aggressive and pushy. She was trying to force me to order two cases of paper, which I did not need, and seems very annoyed that I would not place an order with her to "try out her company". She called out Lonesource by name, along with a couple of other companies, and said that her company was cheaper and as long as we ordered $50.00 worth of merchandise we would qualify for free shipping. She shoes me what a great service representative I have in Kevin because he is definitely not pushy or aggressive. She also highlighted how great Lonesource is for having free shipping on any size order. I can call and get a pencil or an entire office set up, which I have ordered both, and get free shipping either way. I truly feel that Kevin and all the folks I have dealt with at Lonesource are more concerned with being our office supplier than they are about anything else.

One example of service you provided above and beyond the scope of normal operations was the time I called you in state of panic about a year ago. As you may remember, we needed to get the House of Representatives’ conference committee report of the budget placed on the legislators’ desks in the House chamber, and we only had about 3 hours to get it done. The problem was that the document was too thick to staple so the House Clerk’s Office called and asked that I get enough binder clips for each document….all 200 copies!! Short of getting in my vehicle and driving to the local office supply store, I took a chance and gave you a call. To my surprise, you didn’t hesitate to offer support. You had the binder clips delivered immediately, and we had time to spare before our time deadline. I was amazed that you would do this for such a small order.
I often think of this incident when I see Lonesource’s logo, large enough to compete with anyone but small enough to care about everyone. From day to day operations to special needs, Lonesource has been there for the General Assembly and I sincerely appreciate your efforts.
